I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were not up to my expectations with some discomfort due to heating issues, the price was quite reasonable for a group stay. The service was friendly and welcoming but a bit understaffed, and the location, although close to UL and the city center, raised some security concerns. I even had to endure loud arguments next door until the early hours, making it hard to relax. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful, which somewhat made up for the room issues. The location, while not the best due to a rundown area and a nearby caravan site, had the bonus of excellent live music in the bar and delicious food prepared by the chef.
